Screen sharing on a Mac is especially easy if you share an iCloud account with the other computer. Ryan Ariano/Business Insider 7. You can also connect by using your Mac's vnc number. The Mac Zoom app offers more features than the mobile and web versions, as well as more screen space to view other participants on the call. Once you've downloaded the app, you can sign into your. Go up to the menu bar at the top of the screen and select Zoom.us Preferences Virtual Background. Now you can either choose one of the images that Zoom provides for free or click the ' + '.
Today I upgraded my mid-2010 Mac Mini from 4GB to 8GB of RAM. The installation went well, however, I've noticed that whenever the screen saver engages, my monitor is automagically kicked into a 'Zoom In' mode from which I can't recover unless I zap the PRAM!
To turn on the Zoom feature and adjust its behavior, click the System Preferences icon in the Mac’s desktop dock and in the System Preferences box, click Accessibility. On the left side of the.
This has already happened 3 times today.
Whenever the Mac falls into screen saver mode, the OS seems to be increasing the zoom factor by a click or two but also making that zoom setting the new default resolution for the display. This means that I can continue to zoom in, but never out to the (correct) resolution.

The only way to fix this is to reboot the Mac and then hold down Option+Command+P+R while rebooting. After the 2nd beep, the monitor will be reset.
I'm running the latest Mountain Lion build along with a bluetooth Apple keyboard and Magic Trackpad. The monitor is an HP Pavilion 22bw connected via the HDMI port.
And as noted, I've upgraded the memory to 8GB using Crucial RAM. It does seem like the RAM is what has caused the Mac to manifest this bizarre behavior, but it is also the only RAM that seems to work with my mid-2010 Mac Mini. I recently bought some Kensington RAM that caused the Mac to lock up.
For now, I've turned off the screen saver, but this is a workaround at best.
Any ideas what the heck is going on and whether there is a more permanent fix (short of swapping out the memory or disabling the screen saver)?

I've got a two year old MacBook Pro running 10.6.8.
About five minutes ago, while I was using a four-finger trackpad shortcut, the screen suddenly zoomed in about a half inch or so. Now, everything is just slightly lower resolution and my screen is too small to show everything. For example, the date and time in the upper right corner is halfway off the side of the screen. All my desktop icons are slightly larger.
I don't know anything about setting screen resolutions, but I found the display preference and its set for the max 1680x1050. (Seems I remember this once going up to 1080, but maybe I'm mistaken.)
How To Share Screen On Zoom Mac
Regardless, my screen is now looking goofy. How do I get it back? And what might I have done to cause this? I don't remember hitting any errant keys of commands, other than using four fingers on the trackpad for a certain function.
